Professional Services Account Manager at Venesky-Brown Recruitment Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Decarbonisation Implementation Lead for a 6 month contract on a rate of £500-£550 a day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid based. Responsibilities Project manage the process of embedding carbon management standards across the organisation Lead the process of introducing TCFD and TNFD reporting Lead the re-definition of our corporate carbon boundary and rebase lining of our carbon emissions Support the Director of Development, Capital Delivery and Decarbonisation to deliver the initial actions laid out in our Decarbonisation Strategy Route-Map Ensure the proper governance and operation of the project through operation of a Project Board and in accordance with good project management principles Delivery of the actions set out in the agreed Decarbonisation Strategy and Route Map Provide reports and presentations to share the outputs of the project with partners and other bodies Qualifications Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent work experience Excellent work ethic and highly motivated to achieve results. Leadership skills to engage productively and constructively with internal and external parties. Ability to build effective relationships and contribute to the wider team. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including persuasion and influence. Excellent analytical skills including for financial analysis and interpretation. Well‑organised with a methodical and objective approach, and an attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work well under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines. Ability to work under own initiative as well as effectively as part of a team. Significant experience of carbon management and financial risk reporting Track record of full life cycle planning and delivery of projects/programmes including planning, resource management, budgeting, risk and issue management Competent user of Microsoft Office suite Previous experience within an organisation managing a similar environment Previous experience of organisational change management If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
