Job Title: PPM Engineer Mechanical/HVAC About Us We are a establish, fast moving and ambitious building services company, recognised for delivering quality, reliable and technically excellent maintenance and projects in the commercial environment. Role Overview As a PPM Engineer Mechanical/HVAC, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on a wide range of mechanical and HVAC plant and building services equipment. You will ensure all mechanical systems are maintained to a high standard, minimising downtime and delivering exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, valves, pipework, pressurisation units, fans, AHU’s, FCU’s and general AC. Perform fault-finding, reactive repairs, and component replacements. Undertake mechanical isolations with shutdowns when required. Support HVAC and plumbing systems maintenance where applicable. Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and compliance documentation. Ensure all works are delivered in compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures. Work closely with clients, delivering a professional and responsive service. Support colleagues across multi-disciplined building services operations. Skills & Experience Required Time-served Mechanical HVAC engineer with proven experience in PPM and reactive maintenance. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ L2/3 Good knowledge of mechanical systems and plant within commercial buildings. Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems (advantageous). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Flexibility to join an on-call rota if required. What We Offer Competitive salary Overtime opportunities.
