A great chance to join similarly minded individuals who love to learn, thrive on working collaboratively, enjoy the challenge of a fast growing Fintech and who have the ability to change and improve how things get done.Key responsibilitiesKey role within the Accounts Payable function of the team, recording invoices and expenses and ensuring these are coded correctly in the system.Reconcile the accounts payable ledgers to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and assist with making supplier payments and reconciling payments to supplier statements.Assist managing our finance inbox ensuring that all supplier queries are responded to in a timely manner.Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements for group companies, ensuring accuracy and delivery within set timelines.Perform key monthly tasks including bank reconciliations and the calculation of accruals, prepayments and other journal entriesPrepare and issue monthly invoices for various revenue streamsYour profileMinimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar roleEarly stage in accounting studies (e.g. certificate level ACA, AAT Level 3/4 or with exemptions from prior study) - study support can be providedSolution-focused, thrive on problem solving and have a high attention to detailMeticulous approach, organisational prowess and unwavering vigilanceAble to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentTake a collaborative, hands-on approach within a team environmentStrong strong excel / sheets skills and experience using accounting softwareFor this role, you can expect:A 30 minute call with one of the Talent teamA 30 minute call with the Finance ManagerPractical accounting exerciseOnsite interview with senior members of the finance teamLife at LendableThe opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies.Best-in-class compensation, including equity.You can work from home every Monday and Friday if you wish - on the other days, those based in the UK come together IRL at our Shoreditch office in London to be together, build and exchange ideas.Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to whip up breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks in the office every Tuesday-Thursday.We care for our Lendies’ well-being both physically and mentally, so we offer coverage when it comes to private health insuranceWe're an equal-opportunity employer and are looking to make Lendable the most inclusive and open workspace in LondonCheck out our blog #J-18808-Ljbffr
