This rare opportunity offers you to chance to work in our wonderful nursery, while having the flexibility to choose shifts around your availability.Hours, Salary & BenefitsHours: 0 hour contract, to provide cover to the nursery where needed.Salary: Up to £12.60 per hour depending on qualifications.Access to the group’s counselling schemeAccess to fully funded apprenticeshipsPersonal accident at work coverResponsibilitiesTo plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities focusing on each individual child’s interestsTo ensure that a safe, stimulating environment is maintained for children while overseeing the implementation of activitiesTo work alongside the staff team to ensure that the Nursery’s ethos is being fulfilledTo work with all staff in promoting good staff practices across the Nursery and always ensure the safety of the children and their environmentTo liaise with and fully support your room leaderTo ensure that all child development records are updated, where applicableTo discreetly attend to young children’s toileting needsTo agree to the policies and procedures and carry them out to the best of your abilityTo adhere to all nursery policies on safeguarding, health and safety and food hygiene etc.Person SpecificationAn excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculumExperience in planning inspiring activities for children aged 0-5 to explore and enjoy, is essentialHave a completed Early Years Level qualification (Level 2 or above)Be confident in creating a stimulating environment that enables children to become confident learnersExcellent communicator with the ability to quickly build relationships with the children and their parentsWishford Education and Hatherop School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
