We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.Position OverviewAs a Digital Engineer working within the engineering function, you will lead the engineering implementation of Power Conversion’s digital applications, playing a pivotal role in project teams with accountability and responsibility for deploying digital solutions across diverse greenfield and brownfield projects. Your technical acumen will be integral in enhancing our Asset Performance Management (APM) and Remote Monitoring & Diagnostic solutions to ensure seamless operations and maximum benefits from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesAPM Integration: Responsible for the integration of APM solutions in every project, ensuring compatibility and optimisation of all specified equipmentSystem Design & Configuration: Responsible for configuring APM and RM&D solutions by configuring hardware/ software, selecting parameters to monitor, defining standard templates and frameworks for data collection, deploying diagnostic algorithms, and generating critical reportsReliability Enhancement: Identify and implement strategies to elevate the reliability and stability of the APM platformSubject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for all APM and RM&D related queries, providing technical support and guidance to internal teamsIn Service Support: Provide support to Service teams when troubleshooting digital solutions or fixing customer issuesSales & Bid Consultation: Collaborate with sales teams to offer technical input on bids for system upgrades and new implementationsProduct & Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in products, processes and documentation, enhancing user experience and validation supportAlgorithm Development: Partner with product development teams to refine and advance APM algorithms for superior system performanceDigital Innovation: Work closely with development teams to leverage digital technologies that enhance product quality and expedite root cause analysesDigital Enablement: Responsible for configuring GE Vernova’s Visor and Data Historian solutions within the system architecture, ensuring appropriate data logger configuration to enable future prognostic services and reactive technical supportConnectivity: Work with customer IT teams to ensure a stable and active connection to the GE Vernova cloud throughout the project’s lifecycleQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, complemented by significant industry experienceProven track record in designing and installing industrial control systems and analytics platformsProficiency in digital and remote monitoring applicationsStrong grasp of engineering principles, tools, and cutting-edge technologiesExceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detailFamiliarity with cybersecurity protocolsExpertise in industrial network and communications configurationsRelocation Assistance Provided: NoIt may be necessary for you to work at customer sites from time to timeGE Vernova’s Power Conversion business is part of a broader portfolio that includes Gas Power, Nuclear Power, Hydro Power, Steam Power, Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind, and Solar & Storage Solutions.You Can Expect From UsChallenging and exciting world-first projectsFlexible work arrangementsCompetitive salaryFlexible benefits so you can build a package that fits your personal needs.
