Senior Audience Analyst role at OLIVER Agency LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM Role Overview – OLIVER is a specialist in designing, building, and running bespoke in‑house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. The Data Team is one of London’s fastest‑growing agency data teams. As a Senior Analyst, you will drive the use of data across social, search, survey, and panel data sources to improve our audiences understanding and the services we offer. Responsibilities Deliver best‑in‑class audience, category and market analytics that provide actionable insights for teams including social management, creative, strategy, and performance marketing. Interpret, interrogate and utilise data from social, search, survey, panel and 3rd‑party research to build an integrated view of audiences. Build audience segments, sub‑cultures and rich profiles that inform experiences and content. Design, commission and evaluate surveys to test hypotheses on audiences and creative work. Conduct audits of client social channels to assess effectiveness and recommend platform, content and audience insights. Lay the foundations and execute social insight reporting – measurement frameworks, benchmarking, report templates and strategic recommendations. Use social listening tools to track brand reputation, audiences and content, identifying emerging cultural trends. Use influencer tools to evaluate influencer performance through bespoke measurement methodologies. Champion insight tools and associated products across the business. Collaborate closely with strategists, content, account management, social and performance teams to deliver meaningful insights. Contribute to pitches and sell cultural and audience intelligence practices to senior clients and stakeholders. Create insight and thought‑leadership pieces based on audience, behaviours and trends. Own and develop relationships with key suppliers within the tech stack to maximise usage and effectiveness. Embed best‑practice measurement, reporting and insight generation in all work. Foster a culture of learning within the Cultural and Audience Intelligence team by organising training and sharing industry updates. Manage a team of Analysts across insight product/service offerings in research and measurement disciplines. Track analyst utilisation and manage deliverables to ensure efficiency and brief alignment. Qualifications Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strategic thinker who pushes boundaries of data to understand consumers’ emotional needs. Expertise with Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker, CreatorIQ, Sprinklr. Extensive experience within social teams across organic, paid, influencer and earned. Experience with panel and survey providers such as Global Web Index, YouGov, Kantar. Ability to create analytical solutions that aggregate and mine data from multiple sources. Excellent communication / data storytelling skills, capable of distilling complex ideas for non‑technical audiences. Active interest in behavioural science approaches and how they can be delivered through data. Active interest and understanding of AI marketing technologies and integration into practices. Proactive in identifying client insight needs and building tailored solutions. Desire to continually learn and push boundaries. Extremely organised and confident in managing remote teams. Proficient in presenting to senior clients and stakeholders. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Collaborative team player, open‑minded. Values Ambitious – to succeed.
