Digital Nurse - EPR Project The closing date is 15 December 2025 We are seeking multiple experienced clinical professionals to provide expert leadership and support in the implementation of technology-enabled healthcare solutions. This role will be central to embedding our new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and wider digital transformation projects into clinical practice, ensuring a smooth transition that enhances patient care and safety. You will take responsibility for the design and delivery of clinical training programmes, contribute to the Group's Digital Strategy, and lead Nursing and Midwifery engagement in the ongoing design and rollout of our clinical information systems. Working collaboratively with medical, therapy, and multidisciplinary teams, you will promote an innovation-enabled culture that drives improvements in patient outcomes. Main duties of the job This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery by embedding digital solutions into clinical practice. You will be part of a forward-thinking team, working on high‑profile projects that directly impact patient safety, quality of care, and clinical outcomes. Clinical leadership: Provide specialised advice to Nursing & Midwifery teams and across the Group to ensure IT transformation supports safe, effective patient care. Project delivery: Support and undertake project work within the EPR team and independently, contributing to digital strategy initiatives. Policy development: Assist in the creation of clinical policies and guidelines to underpin safe technology use. Training and education: Design and implement clinical training programmes, supporting professional development and maintaining high standards of care. Person Specification Education & Qualifications Registered Nurse Recognised management / leadership qualification Recognised Teaching Qualification Masters degree or working towards Non‑medical prescribing Knowledge, Training & Experience Significant clinical experience Relevant experience of supporting leadership and management development programmes and initiatives Evidence of adopting Trust/Directorate priorities into practice Awareness of current digital projects and strategy Awareness of governance/ quality assurance frameworks and implications on workforce development Ability to represent Nursing & Midwifery effectively at National and local level Experience of team/project work Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
