OverviewThis is an exciting office and field-based role, as a Performance Manager leading a technical team that covers the front-line maintenance activities across two Water Treatment Works in the Southwest area. You will be managing a team of 8 technicians and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, delivering both planned and reactive activities. There will also be a requirement to respond to operational events within the geographical area and deliver excellent customer service.What you’ll be doing as a Performance ManagerYou are responsible for the performance management and leadership of your team by company policies, ensuring the competence of individuals through coaching and training to maximise their potential.Health and safety are at the centre of everything we do, and as such, you will be responsible for implementing this with your site and team.You are responsible for identifying, mitigating, resolving and escalating risk across the site and team.You will need to deliver a consistent approach to asset operation and maintenance to deliver a cost-efficient, robust and safe operation 24/7.Understand and articulate changes within the budget at regular performance review sessions.
