Domestic Assistant Housekeeping - Cedar Lodge and The Limes Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 37.5 Cedar Lodge and The Limes Dementia Care Home is nestled on the peaceful outskirts of Taunton, Somerset, overlooking a beautiful park. Thoughtfully designed for dementia care, it provides a supportive and homely environment for up to 42 residents. What We Offer £12.21 per hour Contracted to 37.5 hours per week Pension scheme, paid DBS, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) What You Will Do You will carry out daily cleaning and laundry duties to ensure all areas of the home are maintained to a high standard. This includes cleaning residents’ rooms, communal spaces, and sanitary areas, as well as handling laundry with care and ensuring personal items are returned promptly. You will follow infection control and health and safety procedures, manage waste disposal appropriately, and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable home environment. Your role is essential in helping residents feel settled and cared for, and in supporting the overall smooth running of the home.
