Wheelchair Therapist - Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber Foundation Trust Our service provides a full range of posture and mobility services to Doncaster residents, issuing a range of equipment from simple to complex and bespoke options. We are looking to recruit a band 5 to our clinical team, welcoming applications from occupational therapy, physiotherapy colleagues and those with existing or transferrable experience. We support return to practice for HCPC registration. Responsibilities Provide person‑centred and holistic assessments of clients’ mobility, postural and pressure care needs. Plan and organise own workload and support the team to provide a responsive service. Carry a caseload of clients eligible for NHS wheelchair provision, including manual provision, configurable lightweight or active user provision, powered wheelchairs, specialist buggies, postural management, and pressure care provision. Adjust caseload over time to reflect development, with structured development path based on NWMF competencies. Assist in operational management of the service and participate in specific service developments relevant to the specialist area. Provide clinical education, training and advice to junior staff, students, assistants and other team members.
