Early Years Foundation Lead / Head of Early Years £44,000 - £5(Apply online only) January 2026 Fixed Term Contract A prestigious independent school situated in Redbridge is seeking an experienced and committed Early Years Foundation Lead / Head of Early Years. Successful candidates will be employed on a 2-term fixed-term contract from January 2026, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. The school can be reached via Woodford station and Hampstead tube. Responsibilities The Early Years Foundation Lead / Head of Early Years will oversee a team of 12 (4 Class Teachers and a team of 8 Support staff) and will dedicate their practice in ensuring that standards of teaching and learning, assessment, and offering are kept as high as possible. They will coach and mentor the team, report into the Senior Leadership team regularly, and ensure that the curriculum being delivered is rich in experience and drives the children’s ability. Qualifications Candidates likely to be successful will have had experience of teaching within the independent sector and would need to have spent significant periods of time in 1 setting.
