Job Title Research Nurse Manager (renewable contract) Hours: 37 hours per week Grade/Salary: AfC Band 7 Department: Beatson Clinical Research Facility (BCRF) Location: The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre Overview The Beatson Clinical Research Facility (BCRF) supports cancer clinical research across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. As Research Nurse Manager, you will oversee a team of research nurses, ensuring high‑quality patient care and efficient research delivery within early‑phase oncology studies. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of research nurses supporting early‑phase cancer studies. Deliver direct and indirect patient care as part of the research teams. Ensure adherence to governance, legislative and safety frameworks for clinical research. Maintain accurate documentation and manage research databases. Actively participate in research meetings, audits and continual training. Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff. Collaborate with clinical, research and administrative teams. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a university degree or higher. Substantial post‑registration experience in a senior nursing role. Evidence of post‑registration qualification or relevant experience in oncology. Experience in SACT delivery preferred. Strong organisational, communication and IT skills. Methodical approach, able to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of clinical research governance and staff management experience desirable. Employment Details Fixed‑term contract: 2 years, renewable. Contractual: Renewal options available.
