Water Treatment Operations Manager – Edinburgh

Our client is a well-established name in the water treatment/water hygiene industry and due to continued expansion they are now actively seeking a commercially focused and driven Water Treatment Operations Manager in the Central Scotland region. Applications will be considered from East Lothian, South Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & experience Must have a strong educational, chemical, technical, management, accounts and sales background. Needs to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the water treatment industry and legislations. Possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience working in this role within the water treatment industry. Competent with the Microsoft office package. Key Responsibilities Secure, manage and develop new accounts whilst managing all existing ones. Management of cooling tower, steam boiler, hot and cold water systems, etc. Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients. Produce quotations and tenders for clients. Producing reports and attending meetings to discuss findings. Ensure staff appropriately trained and address any issues. Increasing customer base by maximizing opportunities even further. Promoting good practice with regards to jobs undertaken. Attributes In general, the successful post-holder will be a confident team player with the ability to take the business forward.
