Consultant Psychiatrist

OverviewThe post is for General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist working in Hallam Street Hospital, West Bromwich. The post holder will Lead General Adult mental health Team services by working closely with the service manager and a multi-disciplinary team comprising predominantly of nurses, speciality doctor, and psychologist. The post holder will join the peer group of Consultants providing comprehensive mental health services as part of Community Mental Health Teams in each locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled clinician who will lead the MDT and who will take keen interest in teaching, training and service development. The post holder will work full time to a 10 PA Job Plan.Salary and pay structureThe salary range quoted is as per NHS Agenda for Change pay structures where applicable. This is based on the number of years\' working directly within the NHS at the advertised pay band. Experience gained with other NHS Trusts will apply, but candidates without prior experience working direct for the NHS would normally be appointed at the lowest point unless they can demonstrate the equivalent experience and then be eligible for incremental increases in future years.
