OverviewJob summary: 1 x Consultant for Hallam Street Hospital, West Bromwich (JD currently with Royal College for approval).We are recruiting a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist for General Adult services in West Bromwich as part of the Black Country General Adult team. This vacancy has arisen as a result of service development.Main dutiesThe post is for General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist based at Hallam Street Hospital, West Bromwich. The post holder will lead the General Adult mental health team services by working closely with the service manager and a multi-disciplinary team comprising nurses, specialty doctors and psychologists. The post holder will join the peer group of Consultants providing comprehensive mental health services as part of Community Mental Health Teams in each locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled clinician who will lead the MDT and take an active role in teaching, training and service development.
