Chase & Holland are proud to be partnering exclusively with a large and well-known Lincoln-based business to recruit a talented Financial Reporting Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) looking to take the next step in their career — leading a small team, shaping financial reporting processes, and playing a key role in the company’s transformation. As Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll be a key part of the Financial Reporting & Planning team, driving the delivery of accurate and insightful management accounts, year‑end reporting, and statutory returns. You’ll also take ownership of internal and external audits, while deputising for the Head of Financial Reporting & Planning. You’ll have one direct report and the opportunity to make a real impact — improving systems, streamlining processes, and enhancing financial governance. The Role: Deliver high‑quality, accurate monthly management accounts and insightful board packs Own balance sheet controls and reconciliations Lead the preparation of year‑end financial statements and external audit delivery Manage the internal audit plan — from scheduling and reviews to ensuring action completion Produce ad‑hoc management information and ensure consistent, reliable reporting Identify and implement improvements across systems, reporting packs, and controls Oversee all external data returns and governance sign‑offs Act as the main point of contact for external auditors Manage and develop a Financial Reporting Analyst Deputise for the Head of Financial Reporting & Planning when required About You: You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) with strong experience in financial reporting, audit, and statutory accounts. You’ll thrive in a fast‑moving environment, with the confidence to challenge, improve, and lead. We’re looking for someone who is: Proactive, detail‑oriented, and passionate about continuous improvement Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills A strong communicator who can make complex data clear and meaningful IT‑savvy, especially with Excel and reporting systems An inspiring leader with a collaborative approach Why Apply?
