Data Classification Risk Assessment Specialist (SC, DV and NPPV3) – £600/day via Umbrella – 3-month Contract – Birmingham Onsite – SCC Flex ContractWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Classification Risk Assessment Specialist to conduct technical analysis and risk assessment for Official Sensitive data within a secure environment. This role is fully onsite in Birmingham and requires active SC clearance (DV/NPPV3 preferred).Your responsibilities will include: Identify and catalogue all Official Sensitive data assets across systems and repositories. Assess risks associated with current classification, including aggregation risks. Review classification against GSCP standards and recommend reclassification where necessary. Analyse technical and procedural controls protecting sensitive data. Provide clear options for mitigating risks, including reclassification, enhanced controls, or segregation. Deliver a comprehensive technical report and executive summary for senior leadership. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Key Skills & Experience: Active UK Government security clearance (SC, DV and NPPV3). Proven experience in data architecture and classification frameworks. Strong knowledge of UK Government Security Classification Policy (GSCP) and NCSC guidance. Expertise in secure data handling within law enforcement or national security contexts.
