Regional Training and Development Officer Careline Lifestyles is seeking a Regional Training and Development Officer to support the professional development of our workforce across the North‑East. The role reports to the Training Manager and involves designing, delivering and evaluating a wide range of training programmes. Location & Employment Location: Regional across the North‑EastJob type: Full‑time, PermanentSalary: £32,000 per annum About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end learning and development activities, ensuring staff have the skills and confidence to perform their duties safely and effectively. The role requires a flexible, hands‑on approach and the ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion. Key Responsibilities Contribute to all stages of the end‑to‑end learning and development process. Deliver high‑quality training programmes independently across our North East services. Provide Company Induction Training to new starters and support them throughout their home‑based induction period. Research, design and develop training courses aligned with statutory requirements, legislation and best practice. Manage the company’s e‑learning platform and training monitoring systems. Coordinate external training courses and support NVQ qualification pathways. Schedule and organise training for home‑based trainers across all services. Update each service’s training matrix to reflect training due, booked and completed. Evaluate, review and update training materials to reflect changes in legislation, industry standards and organisational needs. Provide tailored training solutions and guidance to managers on specific training issues. Develop bespoke training programmes in line with company goals. Produce engaging, accessible training resources and course materials. Carry out additional duties and training as reasonably required by the Training Manager. Qualifications and Experience Highly motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn. Confident delivering training and presenting to groups. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. Flexible, organised and willing to travel across the North East. Professional, trustworthy and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality. Passionate about training and development.
