We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work within the Tendring Specialist Community Mental Health (SCMHT) provision for adults covering Clacton and the surrounding area. Key Roles Occupational Therapy specialist: delivering occupational‑focused assessment, intervention, and consultation to inform and support formulation and delivery of the holistic MDT care plan and risk assessment. Care coordinator / MDT practitioner: contributing to the holistic assessment, care planning, and wider MDT functions. Working Environment The OT team sits within the wider multi‑disciplinary teams providing holistic support for clients with complex and enduring mental health needs requiring secondary level mental health care. The base for this role is Reunion House, Clacton on Sea, but you will be expected to travel to meetings and client visits at client homes, within the community and at other EPUT sites. Responsibilities Conduct OT assessments and develop care plans. Deliver individual and group interventions. Supervise and appraise junior staff. Manage risk assessment and treatment planning as a care‑coordinator and duty worker. Participate in MDT shared tasks and hold an allocated case‑load of clients as the named care coordinator.
