Join to apply for the Senior Developer role at Quartix UK. Hybrid role – based in Horsham 2 or 3 days per week. Job Purpose To work within the development team to design and implement changes to the fleet tracking product and internal business software and to fix bugs from internal testing or external support. Key responsibilities Work with the organisation to design and implement enhancements to the software we produce Maintain a high level of code quality, working with the team to review other code and to follow coding standards Fix any issues arising from bugs in the code. This may include ad hoc fixes to the data to solve issues caused by those bugs. Train and mentor other staff in technical subjects, including processes and standards. General responsibilities A commitment to equal opportunities Maintain and develop relationships with customers and suppliers Contribution towards improvement in procedures and systems Provide cover for team Ad hoc assignments as required About You C# a must, may consider some C++ or Java Some real SQL and database backend experience (preferably MS SQLServer) At least 5 years experience of software development in a business environment Some experience of mentoring Bitbucket/Git or some similar version control system Ability to work with other developers in order to work together to achieve a task Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.
