What you will do The Quality Assurance Team ensures that the Housing Service is compliant with all legal and regulatory responsibilities. The team leads on delivering improvements, undertaking quality checks and acting as a critical friend for service performance. Support the Housing Service to prepare for future inspections from the Regulator of Social Housing Keep the service informed of regulatory requirements, legislative changes, national policy and sector best practice Hold teams to account against compliance expectations Lead projects to develop, review and monitor strategies, policies and processes across the Housing Service Ensure key housing functions meet required standards and deliver safe, effective and efficient services Work with staff at all levels to drive improvements that prioritise the safety, experience and satisfaction of tenants and leaseholders We are looking for someone with Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to quickly analyse complex issues using a wide evidence base The ability to explain findings clearly and simply to a range of audiences including managers, staff and tenants Strong relationship-building skills to quickly establish rapport and support collaborative problem solving A structured approach to policy, service review and compliance monitoring A commitment to improving outcomes for tenants, leaseholders and communities Experience working in housing, regulatory compliance, quality assurance or local government would be beneficial Benefits Up to 33 days annual leave (depending on length of service) plus bank holidays Excellent pension with generous employer contributions (LGPS) Hybrid and flexible working options available for most roles Supportive family-friendly policies for parent, guardians, and carers Health and wellbeing support, including access to eye test support and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme Financial support such as education sessions, childcare deposit loans, and season ticket loans Travel perks including Zipcar access, affordable parking nearby, a Cycle to Work scheme, and great onsite facilities Learning and development opportunities to help you grow your career Access to My Brent Rewards with exclusive discounts on shopping, travel, leisure, and entertainment How to apply Please click ‘Apply’ and include a supporting statement demonstrating how you meet the Person Specification.
