M365 Architect£600 – 725 per dayInside IR35This is a senior, hands‑on technical role responsible for the design, implementation, optimisation, and administration of enterprise‑level messaging, collaboration, and mobile device management platforms. The successful candidate will act as the technical lead for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Intune, and associated technologies, driving large‑scale transformation and modernisation initiatives across the organisation.You will work closely with architects, project managers, and global stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient collaboration services that meet the bank’s operational and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical lead for messaging, collaboration, and mobility initiatives, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery.Design, engineer, and implement Exchange (On‑Prem and Online), Microsoft 365, and Intune platforms.Develop and manage hybrid configurations and migration strategies between on‑premises and cloud environments.Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and the Compliance Centre.Ensure service reliability, scalability, and compliance across messaging and collaboration platforms.Provide Tier‑3 technical support and act as the escalation point for complex issues.Deliver engineering‑level implementation as part of transformation and operational programmes.Maintain comprehensive documentation, standards, and system diagrams.Collaborate cross‑functionally on security, networking, and integration activities.Contribute to the strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and continuous improvement goals.Essential QualificationsExpert knowledge of Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Compliance Centre.Deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 / 2019 administration and troubleshooting.Proven experience with Exchange Hybrid Deployments, coexistence, migrations, and hybrid mail flow.Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for MDM / MAM.Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Identity Federation (ADFS, Azure AD Connect).Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and administration.Solid knowledge of DNS, certificates, and network fundamentals related to messaging.Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.Proactive Appointments Limited operates as an employment agency and employment business and is an equal opportunities organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
