Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be required to manufacture high‑precision components for experimental equipment using CNC and manual machine tools. You will also be involved in the fitting and assembly of components, sub‑assemblies, and complete instruments, ensuring all work meets required standards of accuracy and finish. Previous experience in the field of high technology and scientific research would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have previous experience manufacturing components using CNC and standard machines, with Heidenhain knowledge and CAD/CAM experience desirable but not essential. Additional experience with carbon fibre or composite materials, including lay‑up, laminating, trimming or finishing, would be highly advantageous. How to Apply Please direct enquiries about the role to Andy Stokes (andy.stokes@physics.ox.ac.uk). Only applications received before midday (UK time) 15/12/2025 can be considered.
