Cyber Security Support Technician DGH Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the professional services industry who require a Cyber Security Support Technician to join the firm in Tunbridge Wells. The role will involve identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across the firm’s network, software, and hardware. Key Responsibilities Work closely with external security providers to investigate unusual or malicious security alerts. Respond to security events according to predefined procedures, identifying and categorizing risks, and escalating complex issues to higher levels. Act on security patch notifications, coordinating remediation with the business and external providers, ensuring patches are tested and rolled out within the time frame set by the firm’s cyber security accreditations. Use available tools to proactively monitor network systems and user logs for suspicious activity and potential security threats. Create and maintain cyber security maintenance procedure documentation. Provide first and second line IT support for 300 staff when required to cover for leave. Provide third line IT support for the service desk and projects teams when required.
