Head of CIAM Delivery Location: London Contract: FTC, minimum 18+ months Division: Digital & Data / Merlin Technology Reports to: Delivery Director Join Merlin’s Digital Transformation Journey Merlin Entertainments is on an exciting mission to revolutionise guest experiences through cutting‑edge digital and data capabilities. At the heart of this transformation is Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), a critical enabler for secure, seamless and personalised interactions across our global attractions. We’re looking for a Head of CIAM Delivery to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of CIAM initiatives, ensuring robust, scalable and user‑centric identity solutions. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape the future of identity management across Merlin’s digital ecosystem. What You’ll Do Drive the successful delivery of CIAM platform enhancements and transformation projects. Lead a team of Delivery Managers, overseeing the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and design to implementation and optimisation. Collaborate with Engineering, Cyber Security, Data and Operations teams to ensure secure and compliant identity solutions. Manage strategic vendor relationships and ensure high‑quality, timely delivery. Implement governance frameworks, agile methodologies and best practices for identity delivery. Qualifications & Experience Extensive background in technology delivery leadership and specifically CIAM/IAM and enterprise security domains. Proven track record with identity platforms (e.g., Azure AD B2C, Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity). Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect), MFA, and regulatory compliance (GDPR). Skilled in agile delivery, vendor management and exec‑level stakeholder engagement.
