OverviewQuantity Surveyor (Responsive Repairs) • Quantity Surveyor (Social Housing – Responsive Repairs). Based: Yeovil or Bristol office; Hybrid role - working Monday to Friday, typically 8.30am – 5.00pm. Great opportunity at Novus to work on a long-term Social Housing framework contract. You will play a crucial part in delivering the commercials on our contract with autonomy in your role, allowing you to make a significant impact. What’s in it for youAttractive salary and benefits package to suit you27 Days Hols & BH – option to buy or sell holidaysCompany pension scheme – up to 7.5%Company Car or AllowanceDiscounted Healthcare Scheme, High street & lifestyle discounts including Taste cardA day paid volunteering per year, length of service awards, and many more ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.Assist in the development of the procurement programme.Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects.Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client’s representative.Prepare monthly valuation reports.Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements.Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and/or Clients/Customers, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.Monitor the contract progress, assess, and report any changes affecting project costs and/or timescale.Assist in the control of contract budgets. About YouExperience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Social Housing sector, working on multiple contracts; responsive repairs knowledge is advantageous.Understanding of JCT and Measure Term Contracts; Price per property (PPP) experience is desirable.Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient IT skills with MS Office; Full UK Driving Licence (travel is required). DBS check may be required.
