This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact on students’ education by ensuring continuity in learning when teachers are absent. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students engage with the lesson materials. Monitor and enforce student behaviour to maintain a focused, respectful, and safe learning environment. Provide students with guidance on their work, addressing any questions or issues that may arise. Ensure the class adheres to the teacher's lesson plan and curriculum objectives. Report student behaviour and performance issues to relevant teaching staff. Undertake any administrative duties related to cover supervision as required. Essential Criteria Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students and staff. Previous experience working in an educational environment is advantageous. Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain order. Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond to a range of situations. A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
