They are now looking for an experienced, versatile focused Health & Safety Technical Manager based in and around the Exeter area. The successful postholder will come from a strong health & safety background. Applications from Plymouth, Torquay, Bodmin, Launceston, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Extensive experience of working in a hands‑on health & safety role will be beneficial. A good working knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures used in environmental compliance sectors. A good working knowledge of asbestos, water hygiene and environmental sectors. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Proficient with Microsoft Office Package. Duties of the role Identifying and pursuing new business leads. To create strategies for achieving Key Performance Indicators. To both maintain and develop the business. To reinforce achievement of targets and goals by generating new business leads and at the same time managing the company’s existing clients/accounts. To finalise tenders and quotations. Building and maintaining a strong professional relationship with clients. Meeting targets and goals. Management of existing accounts. Overall, the ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of health & safety policy and procedures.
