Job Summary The Colorectal Cancer Service at King's College Hospital is situated in both the Denmark Hill and Orpington South sites, covering a large geographic area of South East London. The service takes part in a national pathway that reduces hospital based follow‑up appointments through self‑management. Main Duties Coordinate patients moving into stratified follow‑up for lower gastrointestinal cancer. Book patients onto the specialist Remote Monitoring system. Track bowel cancer patients on stratified follow‑up across Kings and PRUH, ensuring colonoscopy and CT scans are reviewed at appropriate intervals and raise surveillance results to clinicians. Support the Colorectal CNSs with recovery package activities, team meetings, data collection, reporting and audits. Collaborate with other departments to meet Survivorship Targets and report any delays to the recovery package project manager. They will manage the enrolment and digital safety‑netting of patients in surveillance of colorectal cancers eligible for Personalised Stratified Follow‑up, support CNSs by organising team meetings, tracking the patient pathway and ensuring timely and accurate data collection, as well as producing reports and conducting audits. Person Specification Essential Experience of computerised database use and maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal, with all clinical and administrative staff, patients and their relatives. Working knowledge of hospital administrative systems EPIC. Desirable Excellent problem‑solving skills. Data analysis skills. Reporting and troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of role limitations.
