Job Overview Protect the customer's property, people and/ or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes. Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer. Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development. Main Duties Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies. Fully and satisfactorily complete all duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions. Proactively review the Assignment Instructions, familiarize with changes and suggest amendments to improve or enhance service. Maintain required licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA Licence) and renew them 16 weeks before expiry. Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role. Follow instructions and procedures appropriately. Work systematically, methodologically and orderly. Training Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training. Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager. Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through continual professional development. Security and Health & Safety Look out for and immediately report any health & safety hazards on site. Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce risk. Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and with challenging customers. Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident to support Incident Report processes. Maintain schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client. Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions. Call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.
