We are seeking a dedicated and organised SEND & Welfare Administrator to join our vibrant primary school team. This pivotal role involves supporting the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision and promoting pupil welfare across the school. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for making a positive difference in children’s lives. If you are proactive, empathetic, and committed to inclusive education, we would like to hear from you. Responsibilities Support the SEND provision, ensuring pupils receive appropriate support. Promote pupil welfare, working with staff, parents, and external agencies. Maintain accurate records and data for SEND and welfare activities. Collaborate with teachers to plan inclusive strategies. Adhere to safeguarding and welfare policies. Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Passion for inclusive education. Proactive, empathetic, and committed to child welfare. Experience in a SEND or welfare role is desirable. About Hailsham Academy The Academy is an all‑through school with 1,500 secondary and 300 primary students, situated close to the South Coast and near a National Park. We recently opened a new primary and pre‑school provision, expanding to a 2‑19 all‑through school. Closing date: 10am Monday 15 December 2025.
