Activities Co‑ordinator Location: HC‑One, Hornchurch, England, United Kingdom. Part‑time role: 20 hrs per week. About the Role In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement activities that delight our residents, assist the Home Manager with organising essential fundraising events, help residents gain confidence to socialise more effectively, develop new activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies and involve the rest of the care home team. Qualifications & Skills Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with experience developing activity programmes. Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage time effectively. Positive, energetic and kind communication style, able to get along with residents and colleagues. Safeguarding awareness: recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues attend safeguarding training and can provide appropriate advice and escalation.
