Overview Join our award-winning Eastern team and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Energy, Rail, and Water projects. We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Story team in the Eastern Region. This is a key role working closely with the Eastern Management Team (EMT) and supporting the Regional Managing Director and Commercial team to deliver accurate financial reporting and drive strategic decision-making. You’ll be a trusted advisor, providing insight and challenge to ensure budgets are achieved and divisional accounts are represented accurately. What You’ll Do Produce monthly regional accounts and review journals Prepare and distribute management account packs with meaningful insights Reconcile balance sheet data and ensure accuracy of salary and cost allocations Support annual budgets and forecasts aligned to future strategies Provide timely and accurate data for statutory requirements, client audits, and year-end processes Actively contribute to regional EMT discussions and lead finance-related projects to improve cost efficiency Continuously develop processes and controls to ensure they are fit for purpose What We’re Looking For CIMA / ACCA qualified or equivalent QBE Strong knowledge of financial standards and requirements Advanced Excel and experience with accounting software Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at senior level Ability to challenge positively and manage competing priorities Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting within a complex organisation What We Offer Competitive salary, pension, plus car / car allowance Health cash plan and wellbeing support Training and career development opportunities Two paid volunteering days each year #J-18808-Ljbffr
