SEN Support worker Location: Birmingham B13Contract Type: Full time 8:30-3:30 Provide personalised one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each child’s individual learning goals. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interaction through supportive and consistent care. Help pupils with daily routines, emotional regulation, and sensory processing. Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every pupil. Keep accurate records and contribute to progress reviews as required. Essential Qualities & Experience Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs in an educational, care, or community setting. A calm, patient, and empathetic nature. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A proactive attitude and genuine passion for helping young people thrive. An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
