Role Overview We’re looking for a talented and motivated Qualified Financial Accountant to join our Group Reporting team, supporting the Finance Manager in the Group Accounts, Sales & Revenue accounting function. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate and timely monthly and year-end reporting, including statutory accounts and supporting analysis. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth production of financial reports and insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities Complete daily and month-end accounting including posting trial balances, in-house entity accounts management up to trial balance, reconciliation of intercompany accounts and transfer pricing recharges. Supporting the Finance Manager with VAT equivalent reporting within overseas legal entities, internal administration of overseas taxes and liaising with outsourced accountants/advisors where relevant. Production of accurate financial reports, with supporting analysis, within specified deadlines, such as monthly debtor reports. Undertake a variety of year-end tasks, including reconciling accounts, reviewing SIPs and completion of routine audit enquiries. Support the Finance Manager and Assistant Accountant with currency management, instructing transfers, buying and selling currencies as required. Support the Finance Manager with gathering data in order to anticipate/forecast future cash needs. Provide holiday cover for the Sales & Revenue Accountant and the Assistant Accountant. Assist with preparation and completion of documents for legal entities. Complete and support the Finance Manager with balance sheet reviews. Understanding of and assisting the Finance Manager with adhering to Group entities’ financial regulations and legislation. Undertake ad hoc tasks as required. Key Requirements Qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) – ideally 2 years PQE Experience working in an operational finance department, experience with accounting for overseas entities would be advantageous. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong financial control and process improvement experience including attention to detail. Knowledge of technical accounting requirements under FRS. Knowledge of Infor SunSystems accounting package would be beneficial including InforQ&A. Advanced Excel skills.
