Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Reading ASAP Start - Full-Time Position Are you committed to supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs? As an Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will be working with students aged 6 to 16, helping them regulate emotions, develop positive behaviour strategies, and engage with their learning. Key Details Role: Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant Location: Reading Salary: 89- 100 per day Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology Graduates OR individuals passionate about children's mental health Experience: Not essential-training and support provided In this Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant role, you will work 1:1 and in small groups to support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate closely with teachers, SEMH specialists, psychologists, and pastoral staff to help foster resilience, confidence, and positive mental health.
