Vista Civil Engineering is a Section 278 Infrastructure specialist that offers our clients a professional contracting service that delivers projects on time and within budget.This role is predominantly associated with assisting the Engineering team in completing duties directly related to our projects. Your role will be split between site and office work and will provide you with varied day-to-day duties and responsibilities.You will be rewarded by working for a growing business serving the rapidly growing Civil Engineering sector. Vista Civil Engineering is committed to applying its equal opportunities policy statement at all stages of recruitment and selection.Role and Responsibilities:Assist the Project Engineering team in reporting to the client.Assisting the team with key projects issues as directed by the Line Manager.Assist the Project Engineering team in the management of all stakeholders.Conduct site inspections with Engineering team and adopting authority.Perform cost analysis to monitor costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.Works under close supervision to achieve time, cost & quality in all assignments.Liaising with various adopting authorities and pursuing adoption certification from these authorities.On-site supervision of site works, including managing the on-site team.Flexible where possible in role & team contribution.Environment and Working Hours:The office is an open plan environmentCompany office hours are 8.30 am until 5.00 pm (4:30pm on Fridays)Person Requirements:Math’s & English GCSE Grade C/4 or above (required).Willing to learn about Project Engineering / Civil Engineering principles.Understanding of current industry trends (not essential).AutoCAD skills (not essential).Microsoft Office Competent.Do You Show?Energy and enthusiasm.Confidence and ambition.Desire to succeed and progress in career.Contribution to team effort as well as individual tasks.Application Instructions:If you think you meet the criteria, then please send us your CV recruitment@vista-civils.co.ukJob Types: Full-time, Permanent, ApprenticeshipPay: From £15,704 per yearAdditional pay:Yearly bonusSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayDo you have at least a Grade 4 in GCSE English Language and Maths?How would you commute to our office in Tring?Vista Civil EngineeringInternational House45-55 Commercial StreetLondonE1 6BD #J-18808-Ljbffr
