Curriculum Manager – Performance and Visual Arts Location: London, England, United Kingdom Full-time, fixed-term until 05/01/2027 About the Role: Curriculum Manager, Performing and Visual Arts (PVA) Passionate about shaping the future of Performing and Visual Arts? Join our London-based Further Education team as a Curriculum Manager and lead the development and delivery of outstanding, industry‑relevant programmes that shape your students' futures. As a Curriculum Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our Fine Art, Textile, Critical and Contextual Studies, Graphics, Photography, Music, Drama & Theatre curriculum and services. This role is offered on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis until 05/01/2027. Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of outstanding educational provision. Work collaboratively with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support both learners and colleagues to thrive. Line‑manage, teach and support staff, driving performance and accountability. Design, plan and deliver high‑quality, learner‑focused curriculum programmes. Understand and manage compliance, funding regulations, and quality assurance processes. Use data effectively to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression. Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost‑effective and high‑impact delivery. Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g. Ofsted) and quality reviews. Qualifications Proven success in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting. Deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement. Strong strategic thinking, communication and people‑management skills. Collaborative mindset and ability to build effective partnerships internally and externally. Commitment to creating inclusive and empowering learning environments. Proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learner success. Relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these) with experience in A‑level/Sixth Form schools/colleges. About the Team You will join a high‑performing and forward‑thinking leadership team, working closely with colleagues across CCC to deliver on our shared goals. Line management of 10 staff, teachers and technicians; support development and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the college and ensuring its delivery through effective leadership, innovation, and operational oversight.
