About the role As a Curriculum Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our A Level curriculum and services. Key responsibilities Lead on the development and delivery of outstanding educational provision Work collaboratively with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support both learners and colleagues Line manage teaching and support staff, driving performance and accountability Design, plan, and deliver high‑quality learner‑focused curriculum programmes Ensure compliance with funding regulations and quality assurance processes Use data to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost‑effective, high‑impact delivery Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits and inspections (e.g., Ofsted) and quality reviews We’re looking for a skilled leader who Has a proven track record in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting Has a deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement Exhibits strong strategic thinking, communication, and people‑management skills Has a collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective partnerships internally and externally Is committed to creating inclusive and empowering learning environments Has a proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learner success Possesses a relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or is willing to obtain these) with experience in A Level About the team You will be joining a high‑performing and forward‑thinking leadership team, working closely with colleagues across CCC to deliver on our shared goals. This role involves line management of 12 staff, supporting their development and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As part of our senior leadership structure, you will also contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the college and ensuring its delivery through effective leadership, innovation, and operational oversight.
