WealthGFI Distribution Director

We're Legal & General Asset Management, one of Europe's largest asset managers and a major global investor. We're looking for a dynamic and collaborative Wealth & GFI Distribution Specialist to lead our global strategy in private markets across the wealth sector and financial institutions. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape how we engage with wealth gatekeepers and buyers of alternatives, working closely with our Private Markets and Regional Sales teams. What you’ll be doing: Leading the strategy and execution of private market distribution within the wealth and financial institutions space Building and managing relationships with wealth gatekeepers and buyers of alternatives Coordinating with Private Markets and Regional Sales teams to align client engagement Sharing market intelligence and competitor insights to inform product design and sales strategy Acting as the subject matter expert on private market adoption in the wealth sector Navigating the regulatory landscape relevant to alternatives for wealth clients Collaborating across teams and geographies to drive strategic initiatives Integrating product knowledge across private credit and real asset strategies Qualifications: Degree qualified with a professional qualification (e.g. CFA, CAIA, FIA) preferred Strong understanding of the wealth market and private market adoption trends Proven experience in fundraising and client relationship management across geographies Deep knowledge of private assets and alternatives with a track record of technical insight Existing relationships with key stakeholders in the UK, Europe and Asia Collaborative mindset with experience working across Distribution, Product Marketing and Investments Leadership qualities including resilience, innovation and strategic thinking Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new product developments with credibility Benefits: The opportunity to participate in our annual performance‑related bonus plan and valuable share schemes Generous pension contribution Life assurance Healthcare plan (permanent employees only) At least 25 days holiday plus public holidays; 26 days after 2 years of service.
