Job Purpose The Warehouse and Logistics Manager plays a key role in our retail team to ensure the products we hold in our warehouses are organised and maintained. This allows us to maximise sales and efficiently fulfil orders online and re‑stock the shop floor. Key Responsibilities (KPIs) Lead the daily management of stock control, adhering to stock control practices, carrying out counts, and counting deliveries. Manage and direct the layout of stockroom ensuring items are placed logically for ease of use by the wider retail team including casual retail assistants. Lead on a frequent stock take process, reporting accuracy of the stock take and implementing any changes to ensure accuracy improves. Receive deliveries of stock, count in product to ensure no discrepancies with what items were expected and make the product available for sale in a timely manner. Clearly communicate deliveries with the wider Retail Management team to ensure the product is made available both in store and online. Pick online orders ensuring items are accurately picked and in a timely manner, with orders fulfilled within our delivery timeframes. Develop and maintain an understanding of sales figures and manage the revenue of the store. Work with the Store Manager and wider store team to ensure all products in all available sizes are displayed on the shop floor, helping to drive sales targets by promoting key products, seasonal merchandise and special promotions. Work with the Store Manager and wider store team to ensure sold stock is replenished swiftly. Work with the Store Manager and wider store team to transition the store for matchdays, with different layouts and merchandise required for Bristol City Men, Bristol Bears Men, Bristol City Women and non‑matchdays. Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team of the Warehouse Executive and casual retail assistants. Support the Store Manager in recruitment, training, and performance management to ensure a motivated and capable team. Help the Retail Supervisor cover the Store Manager role when required, ensuring all responsibilities are met. Support the Store Manager with appraisals and performance reviews for team members. Manage internal and external stakeholders as and when required by the business. Help maintain the store’s operational processes, including cash handling, security and health & safety procedures. Lead on the health & safety procedures in all warehouses and stock rooms, ensuring all procedures are followed and understood by the wider retail team. Work with the Finance Manager to ensure all financial measures and controls relating to stock are implemented. Work with the Store Manager to allocate the staff rota for Retail Executives and casual retail assistants in line with agreed budget. Drive the store KPIs as set by senior retail management team. Act as a keyholder and assume responsibility for opening and closing the store as needed. Keep all relevant paperwork up to date. Essential Qualifications Minimum two years experience in stock control, warehousing & logistics. Proven experience in retail management, preferably within a sports or fashion‑related environment. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong organisational and time‑management skills, and ability to maintain these to a high standard within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required. Desirable Passion for sports and knowledge of Bristol Sport and its clubs is an advantage, but not essential. Salary Up to £30,000 per annum. Hours Five out of seven days, to include evenings and weekends in line with home match day fixtures.
