Salary The on‑target earning potential for this role is £34,220.80 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £32,640.00 plus a qualified estimate of £1,580.80 gratuities per annum. About the role As a Social Media Manager & Content Creator, your key responsibilities are: Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness, engagement and sales Responsible for managing, creating and scheduling all content on social media channels including Insta, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn Manage the content calendar to ensure a regular presence across all channels is tied in with wider activity including email marketing, website updates and digital campaigns Manage The Belfry’s photography and videography requirements to ensure the visual identity of the brand represents the Resort’s aspirations across social, website and emails Liaising with other departments to create an engaging social media content that touches all areas of the resort Collaborating with design team when necessary to provide attractive and engaging campaigns Working with the PR Team to create news stories and blog content Monitoring, tracking and reporting on all relevant channels Keeping up with trends and technologies Identify relevant influencers on social media and ensure collaborations are managed with the PR team Monitoring and responding to guest feedback, comments and social media posts Collaborate with the Commercial Marketing team to support the overall business needs About you The ideal candidate will have 2‑3 years’ experience of planning and creating digital content for a range of audiences. Previous experience in a similar role is a must. Hotel, Resort & Hospitality industry preferred. You will have: Experience and understanding of social media marketing Demonstrable experience of creating and editing video and photography Be a good storyteller with a creative eye Ability to interpret brand visual tone and style Excellent project management, organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines whilst producing high‑quality work Capacity for innovative and creative thinking Experience with Indesign or other similar software to create engaging assets Team player with the ability to work under own initiative Highly motivated, pro‑active and results driven Excellent attention to detail A quick learner Organised and self‑motivator with the ability to remain calm under pressure Prepared to work weekends and evenings when required Belfry Benefits Learning & Development We inspire and develop our team through on‑the‑job coaching & mentoring, in‑house training and provide access to our online learning platform, The Belfry Campus.
