As a mid-sized company, it offers a balanced approach between personal contribution and team collaboration.ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments are received.Communicate effectively with clients to resolve outstanding queries and disputes.Prepare and distribute accurate reports on accounts receivable and overdue balances.Reconcile customer accounts and process adjustments where required.Work closely with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.Support the Accounting & Finance team with month-end reporting tasks.Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies.Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance credit control efficiency.ProfileA successful Credit Controller should have:Previous experience in credit control or a related role in the Accounting & Finance field.Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.Good knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a professional services environment.A proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.Job OfferCompetitive salary of approximately £27,000 to £31,000 per annum.25 days of annual leave, plus 3 personal days for flexibility.Hybrid working model with 2 days on-site on the outskirts of Sheffield.Free on site parkingA supportive and inclusive company culture in the professional services industry.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesLegal Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
