Job Details:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Band 5) x5 required

Location: NHS Hospital near Sheffield

Duration: Up to 12 months (long-term contract)

Schedule: 3, 4, or 5 days per week, 9 AM - 5 PM (30 min lunch)

Start Date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: £17 - £21 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Conduct pharmaceutical assessments and dispense medications
  2. Provide accurate checking services (ACT roles available)
  3. Assist in ward-based clinical pharmacy services
  4. Work alongside pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams
  5. Ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. A valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  2. Experience in hospital or ward-based settings (preferred)
  3. ACT/MMT accreditation (desirable but not essential)
  4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
  5. A commitment to high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This locum role offers flexibility, requiring availability from Monday to Friday with options for part-time or full-time work. The contract is up to 12 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. Free parking is available on-site.
