Specialty Doctor – Sexual Health Service NHS West Midlands, England, United Kingdom Job Summary The appointment is to the Partnership Trust-wide Sexual Health Service, and you will be expected to further strengthen service elements of the Stoke‑on‑Trent and North Staffordshire Sexual Health service. You should have experience in the management and prevention of STIs within a specialist service and hold the Diploma of the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DCSRH). The role will need to support development of spoke services as well as evening service provision. Strong team‑working skills and an interest in training, education and service development are essential. Responsibilities Provide clinical care in the Sexual Health Service Support, train, supervise, assess and mentor other clinical staff including West Midlands GUM specialist registrars, GP resident doctors and nursing staff Contribute to the undergraduate Sexual Health teaching programme through Keele University Participate in departmental research, audit and clinical governance Keep up to date with patient and non‑patient related administration Qualifications Completed at least four years of full‑time postgraduate training (or equivalent part‑time) with at least two years in a relevant specialty training programme Diploma of the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DCSRH) Holds LOCs IUT and SDI and STIF intermediate (or willingness to undertake early in post) Employment Details Grade: Specialty Doctor Salary: £61,542 to £99,216 a year Contract: Permanent Working pattern: Full‑time Location: Cobridge, Stoke on Trent, ST6 2JN About the Trust Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust provides physical and mental health, learning disability and adult social care services across Staffordshire, Stoke‑on‑Trent, Shropshire and beyond.
