We are looking to recruit an ambitious, confident and enthusiastic Retail Store Manager who can represent our Company in our BRAND NEW BEVERLEY STORE. You will be reporting to the Retail Operations Manager and typically your duties will include providing fast, efficient, pleasant and unrivalled customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES Strong understanding of stock control including ordering goods, dealing with deliveries and banking monies. You must be a hands‑on manager. Operate the till in accordance with the company instructions. Provide the highest possible standard of customer service. Ensure that the shelves are well filled/stocked and faced up at all times. Ensure correct pricing of products and stock rotation including the removal of any goods exceeding the use by date and advise management of any Best before issues. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety throughout the store. Observe company rules at all times and report any breach witnessed. Ensure that all staff fully cooperate to ensure the smooth running of the store. REQUIREMENTS Ability to provide excellent customer service, ideally with experience in food retail. Good cash handling skills. Excellent staff supervision and organisational skills. Organised & practically minded, ready to roll up sleeves and get stuck in. Experience in Retail Store Supervisor/Manager, Food Retail, Supermarket, Customer Service, Convenience Store, etc. The store trades Monday to Sunday and it is essential that the successful candidate is flexible to work within these hours. We are looking for someone with flair and ideas, who enjoys sales and promotions and is eager to hit and exceed targets.
