Area Sales Engineer Location: Dunfermline, Scotland, United Kingdom. We are looking for an experienced Field based Area Sales Engineer with a proven track record in the Industrial Electrical Control and Automation industry. Responsibilities Sell a range of high quality Industrial Automation products including PLC, HMI, Variable Speed Drive, Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Sensors, Switchgear and Process Instrumentation components and solutions into the OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets throughout the East of Scotland. Manage and develop an existing portfolio of accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Work to achieve defined sales targets and develop a personal plan to achieve objectives. Conduct field sales activities with road travel across locations such as Edinburgh, Dundee, Kirkaldy, Perth, Dunfermline. Maintain strong organizational and communication skills, be an effective team player while enjoying a level of autonomy. Use Microsoft packages effectively. Qualifications Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a record of sales success. Formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above desirable but not essential. Experience in developing personal sales plans and achieving targets. Knowledge of relevant product range and ability to demonstrate sales ability. Capability with Microsoft packages.
