Our Dunfermline based client, are currently seeking an Internal Proposals Engineer to join their Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity suited to someone with a technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Support External Technical Sales Engineers in all areas of internal sales and proposals.
Handle incoming telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
Produce timely and accurate quotations to meet customer expectations.
Assist in achieving profitable sales across the full product range, with appropriate upselling.
Build rapport and establish credibility with customers by providing high-quality product and service information.
Collaborate with management and colleagues to identify and implement improvements to services and products.
Provide administrative support for sales and purchasing, including accurate filing and retrieval of documentation.
Maintain and record all customer communication through Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Be aware of potential supplier price increases and negotiate to minimise impact on company costs.
Undertake other similar or associated duties as may be assigned by management.To be suitable for this business and challenging role you will have the following skills and experience:

HNC and above qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales processes.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support external sales functions.In return you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a technical sales role where you will receive ongoing support and training

The hours for this role are Mon-Thurs 8.30-430pm and Friday 8.30-1pm, office based.
