We’re committed to creating an environment where you can grow professionally and personally, with access to mentorship, learning opportunities, and a clear path for progression.We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing team and help us continue delivering smart and practical tax solutions to the clients who trust us.This role is a great fit if you’re ready to take ownership of your own portfolio, provide expert tax advisory services and guide clients through a landscape that’s always evolving, while mentoring junior team members.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a portfolio of UK corporate tax clients including groups and complex casesProvide commercially focused tax advice from restructuring to R&D reliefs, share schemes and moreTake a lead on managing deadlines, tax risk, compliance and internal workflowsCoach and support more junior team members, helping them grow in confidence and capabilityCollaborate with EQ Partners to shape tax strategies, identify planning opportunities and add real value to our clientsHelp build lasting client relationships based on trust, expertise and consistent deliverySkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseRelevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)Have UK corporate tax experience, ideally within a Top 10 professional services firmStrong understanding of UK corporation tax legislationProven ability to manage deadlines and team supervisionAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExposure to some international tax/transferring pricing is desirableExperience with CCH corporate is desirableWhy work for EQ?Competitive salary33 days annual leave (plus extra after 3 & 5 years’ service)Pension (up to 10% employee contribution, matched by EQ)Life insurance (4 x annual salary)Private medical cover (eligible at certain grades and/or after specified length of service)Income protection – eligible after completing 1 year of serviceEnhanced family-friendly leave and pay – eligible after 6 and 12 months servicePaid volunteering time (14 hours annually)EE mobile discount (for you + friends/family)Support for CGI qualification & continuous trainingFriendly, inclusive work culture with regular social eventsBelong @ EQ, Part of the Sumer GroupAt Sumer, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, not just as buzzwords, but as the heartbeat of our team.
