This is a fantastic opportunity to build deep operational insight into SGN’s Above 7bar network, working closely with a skilled and collaborative team to shape annual and long‑term strategies, support Control Room operations, and help coordinate safe, efficient frontline activities across the network. Here’s how you will contribute… Review Non‑Routine Operations (NROs) affecting telemetered sites on the Above 7bar Local Transmission System (LTS) Serve as a critical interface between the Control Room and front line operational teams, enabling the safe, timely, and coordinated delivery of complex activities across SGN’s Above 7bar network. Lead the preparation and implementation of annual Gas Control Operations Plans, aligning planned works with network capacity, seasonal demand, and strategic priorities Contribute to the development of long‑term operating strategies supporting network resilience and control capabilities Support policy development, fault reporting, and strategic planning initiatives that underpin operation of the network and drive continuous improvement across System Operations What you will need A strong interest in gas network operations, ideally with some understanding of Above 7bar systems and how they are planned, controlled and maintained Ability to interpret network analysis and assess the operational impact of maintenance, construction, and emergency activities on the LTS and Control Room operations Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to liaise across departments and with external partners. A proactive mindset and strategic thinking skills. A collaborative approach and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment Not sure you meet every requirement?
